Eat, Buy, Repeat: The Second City's Guide to the Holidays

Eat, Buy, Repeat: The Second City's Guide to the Holidays is a festive antidote for post-election anxiety and seasonal stress. Performed by The Second City Touring Company—including Sharjil Rasool, Aimee Ambroziak, Colin Munch, Allana Reoch, Nadine Djoury and Greg Cochrane—this lively sketch show features singing, dancing, frantic family get togethers, and plenty of timely political references.

Highlights include a sketch involving Mrs. Claus (Reoch) harrassed by an army of Twitter trolls, and a scene starring Munch as a lonely 30-year-old at home with his parents.

Holiday skits are mixed with jokes about the doom and gloom following Donald Trump's win and other modern dilemmas. While these bits often hit the mark, it's the silly, physical humour that gets the biggest laughs. Cochrane is particularly entertaining performing a cheesy lounge singer rendition of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."
