Live Wrong And Prosper
Being bad never felt so good, or so funny
Presented by The Second City
Written and performed by Ashley Comeau, Jason DeRosse, Nigel Downer, Alastair Forbes, Inessa Frantowski and Carly Heffernan
What do you get when you mix women's magazine headlines with orgies, dead Facebook accounts, the United Nations and Rob Ford? The answer is a blend of sinfully entertaining sketches otherwise known as Live Long and Prosper, now playing at The Second City.
The show's critically acclaimed ensemble returns from last season's hit production Dreams Really Do Come True! (and other lies) under director Chris Earle (Something Wicked Awesome This Way Comes) to bring you this latest revue, a hilarious look at the many ways people misbehave: including updating social media statuses during intimate moments and helicopter parenting.
Comedians Ashley Comeau, Jason DeRosse, Nigel Downer, Alastair Forbes, Inessa Frantowski and Carly Heffernan have excellent on-stage chemistry, generating non-stop laughs in this well-choreographed, expertly timed production. Audiences will delight in the show's interactive moments (there are plenty of them), in which we are asked to throw out suggestions for reality television shows (the result: "Lawn Bowling with the Stars" and "Jersey Shore Burlington"). Don't miss out!
Live Wrong and Prosper is on stage now at The Second City (51 Mercer Street, Toronto). Visit www.secondcity.com for more information and to buy tickets.
