A killer dinner theatre experience in Toronto

Presented by Mysteriously Yours Dinner Theatre
Artistic Director: Brian Caws
Written by Birgitte Solem, Brian Caws and The Cast

The Mysteriously Yours storefront at 2026 Yonge Street (two blocks north of Davisville subway station) is suspiciously inconspicuous, but once you've visited the place you'll never forget it.

Launched in 1987 in Toronto, Mysteriously Yours is a commercial theatre company dedicated to producing and presenting the best interactive murder mysteries. All shows are detailed, solvable mysteries based on familiar themes, with lots of comedy and audience participation.

The current production, Murder by the Books, is set during a fictional mystery writer's convention, and features a mix of characters based on real people as well as characters from some of literatures's greatest classics: Sherlock Holmes (Tom Melissis), Dr. Watson (Simon Esler), Harry Houdunit (Pierre Trudel), Miss Marble (Barb Scheffler), Agatha Crystal (Precious Chong) and Houdunit's wife Bessy (Birgitte Solem).

After a tasty three course meal, with aptly named dishes and drinks to suit the murder mystery theme, the committed cast begins to mingle with the crowd, setting the stage for the performance to come. As it turns out, every one of them is a suspect, and it is up to the audience to keep track of clues throughout the evening in order to guess the murderer a the end of the night.

Murder by the Books is a deadly entertaining dinner theatre show suitable for adults of all ages and well behaved children ages 10 years and up. Audiences can participate as much or as little as feels comfortable. Don't miss the chance to get involved in the fun.

Catch a performance on Thursdays or Fridays for $69, Saturdays for $76 (plus HST & gratuity). For tickets contact: +1 (416) 486-7469 or email: boxoffice@mysteriouslyyours.com. Visit mysteriouslyyours.ca for more information.
